Question by : I am an extreme heroin addict with no insurance. How can i get help? I want to die im in so deep?
I have no insurance, and i am in debt up to my kneck. I owe rental places and credit card companies thousands of dollars. I have my bachelors in psychology and i ust to have a great credit score but the last two weeks have ruined that. My habit is up to 500$ a day. I am doing almost three to four grams a day. I have never been this deep into my addiction- i dont know what to do, – i am purposley trying to O.D because i dont know how i am going to get out of all this mess. i go into convulsions when i detox now and i just need help – i cant do this alone- i need advice so bad- i am at rock bottom HELP- i ust to be a great girl i want my life back

i am so sorry you think taking your life will solve the problem, im not gonna say stop taking it because i hear 1 injection and your on it for good unless you have a shed load of will power.
the main thing you need to do is stop hanging around with the people you score off.. you could be trying to stop but they are holding you back..
you will never get out of debt until you stop this crazy addiction, but remember it will take a few months of absolute pain but you need to believe in yourself and think of the bigger picture.
go and see a doctor/psychiatrist to help you or guide you on how to get help

Whitney, i wouldn’t be so concerned about your credit score when you’re feeling so bad that you’re purposely trying to OD on heroin because you don’t know any other way out. You’re going to have to forget about your credit for now & do what you can to seek help for your addiction. There are places in every city that will see you based on your income, you’ve just got to be willing to make the phone calls to seek help for yourself. I know it seems impossible right now, & i really commend you for even being able to admit that you need help. That’s the first, and most important step in recovery. It’s going to hurt like hell, but you’ve got to muster the strength some how & just do it! Seek treatment because if you die your credit or credit score isn’t going to matter anyway. Don’t answer phone calls from creditors. Change your phone # if you have to. This is a matter of life & death, & saving your life right now is first and foremost of importance. Sweetie, you can do this. I know you want it so bad. I feel so sad for you. I wouldn’t want to be in your shoes right now, & i know it would take a lot of strength to overcome this, but you can’t go at it alone. You need all the support you can get. Once you’re dead you don’t get a second chance. Don’t let the heroin defeat you. Fight back, harder than you ever have in your life. You can do this!! Call for as much help and support as you can get. Don’t give up!! I know there are free programs & places that will take you based on your income. Please get out the phone book & start making phone calls. This is your life & i know you wanna live…it just seems so impossible right now. try and contact a drug rehabilitation, addicts anon, or similar organization or go to the ER or mental health unit to get some help.
detox is not easy and is painful but if you can come out the other side you will have a life something you don’t have at the moment.
